At Criterium Engineers, we’re a pet-friendly workplace and our employees are proud owners of cats, dogs, rabbits, chameleons, turtles, and many other well-loved critters.
When our local humane society was purchasing a 24,000 square foot building and asked us to perform a property condition assessment and Phase 1 environmental site assessment, we were delighted to help them evaluate their new dream home in support of their mission.
Their current shelter was founded in 1950 and has been located in the same building since that time. The group has been looking for a new location for ten years. The new building offers plenty of room for the 4,000 pets they serve each year and allows the organization to eventually consolidate its three existing facilities in Maine: Pleasant Street and Range Road locations in Brunswick and a third location in Edgecomb.
In a recent Midcoast Humane Society blog post, officials from the organization noted: “To support the purchase of the new building, and in accordance with planned consolidation efforts, we are listing our administrative office building, located at 190 Pleasant Street for sale. The facility at 30 Range Road will remain in use until the new building is fully renovated and approved for occupancy, which we expect will take 9 to 12 months, at which point it will also be sold.”
Criterium Engineers is pleased to assist Midcoast Humane Society in giving the animals the home they deserve!
