The Lodge at Southern Springs
Southern Springs by Del Webb, located south of Nashville, in Spring Hill, Tennessee, is a brand-new 55+ community of various styles of ranch homes with a community lodge housing a fitness center and other amenities.
Southern Springs engaged with Criterium Engineers to complete a transition study as their community transitioned from the development company to their homeowner association’s governing board. They also worked with Criterium Engineers licensed Professional Engineers to complete a reserve study and funding plan to help establish a solid financial reserve funding model for their HOA’s future.
Their HOA’s project manager of general oversight for the reserve study, Carlton “Butch” Harper, noted that: “When we began the request for proposal process, Criterium was more expensive than some of the other firms, but their proposed approach, study development process, and solid professional credentials helped them earn our business.
