Congratulations to Arthur ‘Art’ Wickerham, P.E., of Criterium-Liszkay Engineers, who was recently presented with the 2020 H. Alan Mooney Award for Distinguished Service. Art was nominated by Don Liszkay, longtime & recently retired principal of that affiliate office. Watch the award presentation video here.
This award represents the very best of our organization, both in continued performance and ongoing impact. Those who earn this recognition represent dedication to the profession, service to clients, and contribution to the community. The award is named after Criterium’s founder and is presented annually.
Excerpts from what Don wrote in Art’s nomination:
- Not that Art has done anything spectacular over the past year, but he has been Mr. Consistent over the past approximately 30 years.
- Art started working for me performing home inspections and always performed superiorly. He was our most requested engineer.
- Over the years, he has developed our Reserve Study Program, catching the attention of a prominent Reserve Study attorney, who recognized his ability and started to recommend him and our company. He served as a member of the local CAI board and further gained attention while always performing above and beyond the call of duty.
- Our commercial property inspection program started to take off and Art used his skills learned as a past facility engineer to perform those inspections.
- [If engineering excellence was not enough] Art was our main man in overseeing our IT issues over the years, always ready to solve the latest problem or developing the latest system.
Don Liszkay also noted, “Art announced his retirement a few years ago, however, he still is working almost full-time developing quotes for Reserve Studies and performing some studies himself. So, although, he is supposed to be retired, he continues to perform at the highest level, always ready to lend a hand to help out whenever he can.”
Art clearly represents the very best of our organization; 30+ years of continuous performance and ongoing impact, dedication to the profession and service to clients.
