David Leopold is a multi-faceted business leader with over 20 years of experience across several industries, including officer and senior management positions in Fortune 500 companies in the insurance and telecommunications industry. In 2018, David joined Criterium Engineers as the company’s majority owner and oversees the management of the company. As the company’s President, David is directly involved in setting the strategic and operational direction for the company. He oversees the firm’s marketing, growth, and diversification with a passion for building, developing and retaining high performing teams and affiliates that help clients and partners achieve their goals.
Prior to joining Criterium Engineers, David Leopold was the Chief Marketing Officer for Unum Group (NYSE: UNM) where he led marketing and product development teams in the US and UK. Previously, David was Regional Vice President, Marketing and Sales at Time Warner Cable (now Spectrum, NASDAQ: CHTR) where he was responsible for marketing and customer acquisition/retention for three million residential subscribers in New England, upstate New York, and 12 other states. Early in his career, David worked for the National Basketball Association and was involved in numerous key strategic management, operational initiatives and decisions for the NBA’s consumer products business.
David graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in history. He also earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
