History

riterium Engineers was established in 1957 by Arthur Tauscher to provide engineering reports on the condition of buildings. It was one of the first companies anywhere to offer such a service. H. Alan Mooney, P.E., a licensee since 1974, purchased the company in 1988. He formed a new identity and the name and orange triangle became registered trademarks. These symbols stand for the company's leadership role in the engineering field.

Today, Criterium Engineers offers engineering services that include inspections, property condition assessments, real estate due diligence, reserve studies, environmental site assessments, construction monitoring, insurance investigations, litigation support, construction quality control, facilities auditing, and structural evaluations and repair design for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
